Macrophage stimulating factor 1 (SMT1), also known as hepatocyte growth factor-like protein (HGFL) or MSP, is a protein encoded by the MST1 gene. In a NaHS exposure model of chicken peripheral blood lymphocytes in vitro, ROS bursts and JNK/MST1/FOXO1 pathway activation induced by H2S exposure were detected.
