Target Information
Heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 9 (HSPA9), also known as GRP75, is a protein encoded by the chicken HSPA9 gene. HSPA9 is a member of the Hsp70 family, which consists of conserved heat shock proteins expressed ubiquitously. It is a heat-inducible member of the hsp70 protein family. It is a 74 kDa protein located in mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, plasma membrane and cytoplasmic vesicles. The function of HSPA9 is associated with proliferation, maintenance of function and stress response in cancer cells.
