Target Information

Solute carrier family 2 member 4 is encoded by SLC2A4 in dogs. It is also known as GLUT4, whose expression is the limiting step in insulin-stimulated glucose uptake. GLUT4 has been shown to be regulated by E2, which is differentially modulated by estrogen receptors 1 and 2. GLUT4 expression in canine luteal cells varies according to the phase of CL lifespan.
