Target Information
Angiotensin I converting enzyme is encoded by the ACE gene in dogs. It is an important catalyst for the renin-angiotensin aldosterone system (RAAS) cascade by cleaving a carboxy-terminal dipeptide from angiotensin I to form angiotensin II.
