C57BL/6 Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells are embryonic stem cells derived from the inner cell mass of C57BL/6 male mouse embryos. When C57BL/6 is implanted into c2J blastocysts, the yield of coat color chimeras is high; while the number of chimeras produced by implantation into FVB blastocysts is low. This cell is a powerful tool for basic and applied research in many fields, including developmental and regulatory research, regenerative biology, and potential therapeutic approaches.

Formulation and Cell Culture Medium DMEM with 15% FBS; 0.1 μL/mL LIF; 1% L-Glutamine; 1% NEAA; 1% Sodium pyruvate; 1% PS; 1 μL/mL β-Mercaptoethanol; 1% Penicillin-Streptomycin Solution. The culture flask needs to be coated with 0.1% gelatin. The cells grow in colonies.
