Target Information
Bovine Wnt family member 2 is encoded by the WNT2 gene in cattle. It is a member of the wingless-type mouse mammary tumor virus integration site (WNT) family of signaling molecules which are regulators of ovarian function. Research has shown that WNT2/CTNNB1 signaling contributes to bovine granulosa cell proliferation and demonstrate that FSH may be the initiator in this process.
