Target Information

Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) is commonly referred to as tumor necrosis factor α or TNF-α. It is an adipose factor and a cytokine. As a member of the TNF superfamily, it can promote insulin resistance and is also used for cellular signaling in the immune system. Addition of TNFα enables the bovine macrophages to restrict bacterial replication.
