Target Information

Bovine Testin is encoded by the TES gene in cattle. It is found at focal adhesions, which are specialized regions where cells attach to their surroundings. It is thought to have a role in regulation of cell motility. In addition to its role in cell motility, Testin functions as a tumor suppressor, which are proteins that help prevent uncontrolled cell growth and the development of cancer.
