Target Information

Rhophilin-associated tail protein 1 (ROPN1), also known as ropporin, is selectively overexpressed in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cell lines and tissues. Bovine Ropporin-1 is encoded by the ROPN1 gene in cattle. It has been related to beef traits. ROPN1 promotes migration and metastasis in TNBC. It activates the RhoA signaling pathway via rhophilin-1 (RHPN1), leading to enhanced actin stress fiber formation.

Target/Biomarker Bovine ROPN1
Target Synonym rhophilin associated tail protein 1; ropporin-1; rhophilin-associated protein 1; ropporin, rhophilin associated protein 1
