Specifications
Target Information
Bovine Glutaminyl-Peptide Cyclotransferase-Like Protein is encoded by the QPCTL gene in cattle. It is an intracellular enzyme that can mediate N-terminal modification of a variety of substrates, affecting biological properties such as CCL2 and CCL7 to protect them from proteolytic inactivation. It enables glutaminyl-peptide cyclotransferase activity and zinc ion binding activity. It acts upstream of or within peptidyl-pyroglutamic acid biosynthetic process, using glutaminyl-peptide cyclotransferase. It is located in Golgi apparatus.
