Target Information

Phospholipase C (PLC) plays an important role in the regulation of the inflammatory response with different mechanisms in different cells. Phospholipase C (PLC) is a class of membrane-associated enzymes that cleave phospholipids just before the phosphate group. It is most commonly used as a synonym for the human forms of this enzyme, which play an important role in eukaryotic cell physiology, particularly in signal transduction pathways. PLCBeta is a member of the PLC family, which is functionally dependent on the activation of a number of downstream signalling pathways.

Target Synonym Phospholipase C beta; Phospholipase C β
