Target Information

Poly(ADP-ribose) Polymerase 1 (PARP1), also known as NAD + ADP-ribosyltransferase 1 or poly[ADP-ribose] synthase 1, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in cellular processes. Bovine Poly(ADP-ribose) Polymerase 1 is encoded by the PARP1 gene in cattle. It is the main PARP enzyme involved in several cellular processes including transcription, epigenetics, chromatin re-modelling as well as in the maintenance of genomic stability.
