Target Information

Myc proto-oncogene protein, also known as c-Myc, is a nuclear phosphoprotein that plays essential roles in cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and cellular transformation. Bovine Myc Proto-Oncogene Protein is encoded by the MYC gene in cattle. It has been reported that modulated expression of c-myc plays a critical role in stimulating normal cell proliferation and that induction of c-myc is both necessary and sufficient for cell cycle entry from quiescence and subsequent progression through the cell cycle.
