Target Information

Integrin beta-1 (ITGB1), also known as CD29, is a cell surface receptor that plays essential roles in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. Integrin beta-1 associates with integrin alpha 1 and integrin alpha 2 to form integrin complexes. Bovine Integrin Beta-1 is encoded by the ITGB1 gene in cattle. TGF-β1 levels are usually increased during mastitis. It may be useful therapeutic targets for the treatment of mastitis in dairy cows.
