Target Information

IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3) is a transcription factor crucial for the immune response. IRF3 is involved in the non-MyD88, TRIF pathway of TLR signaling. Upon activation by TLR3 or TLR4, IRF3 translocates to the nucleus. Bovine Interferon Regulatory Factor 3 is encoded by the IRF3 gene in cattle. It plays a fundamental role in inducing the transcription of the IFN gene during viral infection.
