Target Information

INSM1 is a zinc finger transcription factor that plays a critical role in the regulation of target genes or indirectly through the stimulation of growth factor signalling pathways. INSM1 serves as a cytoplasmic marker for neuroendocrine differentiation of tumor cells. INSM1 regulates the chromatin modifying factors of histone deacetylases; histone modification plays a vital role in various biological processes and in the expression and regulation of genes.
