Target Information
Inhibin is a dimeric protein composed of an a subunit α and one of two β subunits. Inhibin B serves different functions in males and females. In bulls, immunization studies have shown that inhibin functions as a negative regulator of FSH secretion from the early prepubertal period. Inhibin A and inhibin B were found to be present in bull testes from the infantile to the postpubertal period.
