Target Information

Interleukin 34 is encoded by the LOXL2 gene in cattle. Studies have demonstrated that IL-34 is released by some cell types and is involved in the differentiation and survival of macrophages, monocytes, and dendritic cells (DCs) in response to inflammation, in the development of microglia and Langerhans cells.
