Target Information
Heat Shock Cognate 71 kDa Protein (HSPB1), also known as heat shock protein beta-1, is a remarkable small heat shock protein that functions as a molecular chaperone. Bovine Heat Shock Cognate 71 kDa Protein is encoded by the HSPA8 gene in cattle. It is a highly conserved member of the Hsp70 family, which is expressed in oviductal cells, translocated into oviductal fluid, and becomes attached to the sperm surface during sperm transport.
