Target Information
Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 1 like 1 (GOT1L1), also known as putative aspartate aminotransferase, cytoplasmic, is encoded by the GOT1L1 gene in cattle. It is predicted to enable L-aspartate:2-oxoglutarate aminotransferase activity and is involved in aspartate biosynthetic processes. Although its precise function is not fully understood, it may play a role in amino acid metabolism. The protein is likely active in the cytosol. It was found to be associated with ADG in Nellore cattle.
