Specifications
Target Information
The Gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor (GnRHR), also known as the luteinizing hormone releasing hormone receptor (LHRHR), belongs to the seven-transmembrane, G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) family. Bovine Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone Receptor is encoded by the GNRHR gene in cattle. GnRHR serves as the receptor for gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It is expressed on the surface of pituitary gonadotrope cells, as well as in lymphocytes, breast, ovary, and prostate. The presence of GnRHRs on gonadotrophs in the anterior pituitary is an important factor for reproduction control.
