Target Information

Glyoxylate reductase 1 homolog (GLYR1), also known as NP60 and N-PAC, was originally discovered as an oxidoreductase in plant research. It is a chromatin gene reader with a cytokine-like nature. It participates in chromatin modification and regulation of gene expression. GLYR1 may be used as a biological marker that reflects the degree of malignancy and sensitivity to 5-fluorouracil in microsatellite instability colorectal cancer.
