Target Information

Bovine Ewing's Tumor-Associated Antigen 1 Homolog is encoded by the ETAA1 gene in cattle. It is a protein involved in the replication stress response. It accumulates at DNA damage sites, promoting replication fork progression and integrity. ETAA1 is recruited to stalled replication forks via interaction with the RPA complex and directly stimulates ATR kinase activity independently of TOPBP1. In cattle, it is a strong indicator of mastitis resistance and somatic cell score.
