Target Information

DnaJ Homolog Subfamily C Member 27 (DNAJC27), also known as Rab and DnaJ domain-containing protein (RBJ), is an intriguing protein involved in intracellular vesicle-membrane transport. DNAJC27 regulates the GDP/GTP exchange reaction of most Rab proteins by inhibiting the dissociation of GDP from them and preventing their subsequent binding to GTP. Bovine DnaJ Homolog Subfamily C Member 27 is encoded by the DNAJC27 gene in cattle. Single nucleotide polymorphisms in DNAJC27 was found to be associated with fertilization rate.
