Target Information
Corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH), also known as corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) or corticoliberin, is a peptide hormone involved in stress responses. It plays a crucial role in coordinating the body's reactions to stress and inflammation. CRH is primarily released by the hypothalamus. Bovine Corticoliberin is encoded by the CRH gene in cattle. It regulates secretion of adrenocorticotrophin hormone, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, and multiple hypothalamic functions.
