Specifications
Target Information
Creatine kinase (CK), also known as creatine phosphokinase (CPK) or phosphocreatine kinase, is an enzyme expressed by various tissues and cell types. Bovine Creatine Kinase B-Type is encoded by the CKB gene in cattle. There are three different cytosolic CK isoenzymes: CK-MM, CK-BB, and CK-MB. The creatine kinase is considered a musclespecific enzyme which plays an important role in the energy transfer by catalysing the conversion of creatine to creatine phosphate.
