Target Information
The alpha-1A adrenergic receptor (α1A-AR) is a subtype of the alpha-1 adrenergic receptor family, which is a class of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). These receptors are primarily involved in mediating the effects of the neurotransmitter norepinephrine (noradrenaline) and the hormone epinephrine (adrenaline). Bovine Alpha-1A Adrenergic Receptor is encoded by the ADRA1A gene in cattle. Colostrum feeding affected the expression of the ADRA1A gene in the adrenal glands and gut tissues of neonatal calves.
