ADAM metallopeptidase with thrombospondin type 1 motif 1 is encoded by the ADAMTS1 gene in cattle. Research has shown the gonadotropin/forskolin-dependent up-regulation of ADAMTS1 mRNA in granulosa cells of bovine preovulatory follicles in vivo and in vitro.
