Target Information

Activin A receptor like type 1 is encoded by the ACVRL1 gene in cattle. It is a TGFβ/BMP type I receptor that is required for angiogenesis in vivo. It is a membrane protein that is expressed on endothelial cells (ECs), and has a particularly strong affinity for BMP9 and BMP10 ligands.
