Target Information

Similar to ACTN1 and ACTN3, Alpha-Actinin-4 is an actin cross-linking protein involved in cytoskeletal organization and regulation. It is found in both non-muscle and muscle cells, with expression levels varying between different tissues. However, ACTN4 exhibits unique properties, including acting as a nuclear coactivator that can influence gene expression. Bovine Alpha-Actinin-4 is encoded by the ACTN4 gene in cattle. It is an actin-binding protein that participates in cytoskeleton organisation.

Target/Biomarker Bovine ACTN4
Target Synonym actinin alpha 4; alpha-actinin-4; F-actin cross-linking protein; non-muscle alpha-actinin 4
