Target Information
Multidrug resistance-associated protein 1 (MRP1) is a protein encoded by the ABCC1 gene in cattle. It is a polytopic transmembrane protein belonging to the ATP-binding cassette transporter superfamily. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intracellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven different subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White).
