Target Information

Bartonella vinsonii is a Gram-negative bacterium from the Bartonella genus, initially isolated from dogs. Infections caused by Bartonella are more likely to result in clinical symptoms in dogs compared to cats. Dogs can harbor Bartonella vinsonii subsp. berkhoffii, Bartonella henselae, along with other Bartonella species.
